Ms. Alvarez has over 30 years experience in the telecommunications and healthcare industries. Her career encompasses management in the areas of customer service, project management, and sales. She has held director and regional level positions, and also functions as industry consultant and trainer.
Her expertise includes large hospital management, network services, system design and implementation, contract administration, billing, voice mail and wireless office systems, audio conferencing services, vendor relations, call center management, PBX operations contract negotiations, team building, training, application development and support services.
Ms. Alvarez's visionary and detailed management skills have improved operational budgets and created profit centers for several large companies, including Pacific Telephone, AT&T, PacTel Info Systems, Andersen Consulting, and GTE.
Ms. Alvarez is active in the community, and contributes to community actives and network groups, and formed a focus group to explore the implementation of communications services for the Philippines. She is also a member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and volunteers as a student mentor. She was a founding member of HCMA, an organization supporting over 425 hospitals.
Ms. Alvarez gained her formal education at Illinois State University. She has extensive training in sales and technical services as well as customer service and management. With her varied management experience across multiple verticals, Ms. Alvarez understands the difference between mediocre and exemplary client service. Her innovative and creative approach toward customized training fulfills upon the return of the client's investment. With her operational expertise, Ms Alvarez is mindful of fiscal concerns and works with clients to improve their competitive edge without redlining the training budget.
